... You made a Gir costume for Halloween? One word: how?

And 'how' have you edited this in photoshop? Did you create the shadows, like around her hair, or skin tone in the program? Otherwise it looks a lot like colour pencils to me. Not that there's anything wrong with colour pencils -like you were saying about the traditional art earlier in our semi conversation ;)

Okay okay, I've only caught Zim on a few occasions and it always seems to be one of two episodes. So I only have a very *faint* idea of how Gaz is. *Faint* So maybe you need to fill me in on the details ;) -I seem to like this smiley a lot. But I do indeed recognise that scowling expression :D

I've actually never been trick or treating in my life. Which is really sad.

well for my GIR costume, I used those footy pajamas and sprayed them all green. I then got this BIG cardboard box and covered it with this light green posterboard. The box was made to close around my head with a hole at the bottom for my neck to fit through. And for the eyes (get this) I cut two huge holes on the front/side creased part of the box, and inflated two big white balloons (I drew on the black spots for his deranged pupils :D ) The hanging toung was made from a pink fuzzy ear of a giant old stuffed hipo that i had, heheheh.

On this Gaz pic, I only tried to smudge her skin around to make it blend, and I erased any grey spots that were around the image. Thats the only editing I did that i remember...

Oooh, crazy cool! That's a lot of effort to make one costume, I dont suppose you got to wear it again? (not counting the balloons, cause they'd pop come next year obviously). Whatever happened to going as a ghost? Cutting holes in a big white sheet....

Must have taken a while to come up with your costume design...

yeah it did actually. The pajama spraying was easy, but the head took me 4 hours (and kids kept hitting the box, damn them!) But it was really kickass :excited:
